Age-aware chore finder
Updated 2026-08-15
Choose the child’s age band and the time available. The finder returns a deliberately short list to discuss together—not a claim about what every child of that age must manage.
Age is only a starting point. Experience, development, disability, household setup and supervision matter more than a birthday alone.
Turn a clear family agreement into missions children can complete and parents approve.

A workable sequence
- 1 — Choose the closest age band.
- 2 — Select a realistic time window.
- 3 — Read the suggestions with the child.
- 4 — Remove anything unsafe or unsuitable for your household.
- 5 — Try the remaining list for one week before adding more.
Practical note
A child who is new to a task needs demonstration and practice regardless of age.
Common question
Is the result professional developmental advice?
No. It is a practical conversation aid. Parents remain responsible for safety, supervision and fit.
