    They do them and send a photo

    Your child ticks a task off on their own phone and adds a photo as proof if you asked for one. Nothing auto-approves.

    Approve, or send it back with a tip. The coins land the moment you say yes.

    Coins unlock their screen time

    Coins buy minutes in the apps you chose. When the minutes are used, the apps lock again. The app says stop, not you.

What you need

Your child’s own iPhone or iPad

iOS 17.4 or later. Screen time is enforced on the device being locked.

A child Apple Account in Family Sharing

That is what keeps the app installed. On a personal Apple Account it works, but your child can delete it.

Your own phone, or the parent area on theirs

A second device adds remote locks and the approval queue in your pocket. One shared device works too, behind a four-digit parent key.
